Question 1

How quickly can you respond to a hot water emergency?

Accepted Answer

We offer emergency service across the Blue Mountains and prioritise urgent hot water problems. Call to confirm current availability and expected attendance time.

Question 2

Which brands of hot water systems do you supply and install?

Accepted Answer

We supply and install all major Australian hot water brands including Rheem, Rinnai, Dux, Bosch, Stiebel Eltron, iStore, Reclaim Energy, and Aquamax. We can also supply and install specific brands on request.

Question 3

Are there government rebates available for heat pump or solar systems?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Both heat pump and solar hot water systems are eligible for Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) under the federal government's Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme. The rebate value depends on your location and the system size. We handle all rebate paperwork and apply the discount directly to your quote.

Question 4

How long does a hot water system installation take?

Accepted Answer

A standard like-for-like replacement typically takes 2–4 hours. New installations or system type changes may take 3–6 hours depending on site conditions and system complexity. We aim to complete all installations in a single visit.

Question 5

What warranties come with a new hot water system?

Accepted Answer

All new systems include the manufacturer's product warranty (typically 5–10 years on the cylinder, 1–5 years on parts). Every installation also includes our own workmanship guarantee. If anything is not right with our work, we return to fix it at no cost.

Question 6

Which hot water system is best suited to the Blue Mountains climate?

Accepted Answer

Heat pump systems perform exceptionally well in the Blue Mountains climate, even in the coldest winters. The Reclaim Energy CO₂ heat pump, for example, operates efficiently at -10°C. We assess your home's specific needs, orientation, usage, and budget before recommending the best solution.
